I feel like I’ve come full circle after being obsessed with the old Toyota pickups as a kid…an ‘82 22r still makes me smile.

This is my first Tacoma though. I think I love it…a little remorseful about not holding out for an OR. I bought a ‘17 Sport with a manual transmission, which was a big factor in the purchase.

I used to build and wheel Jeeps, mostly XJs, so I have a little experience wrenching and modding.

    Wife drives a ‘15 4runner.

Where is the best place to start a thread with some pics of my truck? I bought it with a few mods to it already, and want to figure out exactly what I’ve got before I start throwing too much money at it.

I’ll just drop a couple here. I think I’ve been blessed with some of the mods from the “most hated mod” thread. Lol

Are these Pro wheels? I think the previous owner tried to make this sport into a pseudo pro. I’d like to identify the wheel backspacing, as I’d like to throw 285s in there after I wear these 265 KO2s out a bit more. It seems like there’s a good bit of clearance left.

It appears to have an OME lift, which I assume is about 2”, but curious if they stamp the leaf packs or coils to help identify the spring rate. I plan on adding a bit of weight. Those are the FN FX replica TRD SEMA wheels. Toyota doesn't make a gloss black SEMA wheel unfortunately. Those tires say 275 on them if thats what you meant to say
