Yeah my understanding is if you use your NODs in the field they need pretty regular purging and cleaning. As in, the NODs used by your actual doorkickers get cycled out and serviced every 3-6 months.

Not that there's no threat whatsoever, but my guess is there's going to be a lot of very dusty, very blurry, barely serviceable NODs in about a year.

I think the EOTech is still the king of passive aiming but that still requires more skill than hitting the fire button and getting a nice IR illuminated laser.

I impulse bought the shit out of a Surefire SOCOM RC2 a few weeks back and it's still in jail till probably June of next year, but that set the "toys" budget back to pretty much 0.

Which is why I'm trying to sell that Trijicon scope! :D

You’ll be surprised by how much those NOD’s even get maintenance honestly. Yeah they’ll get small issues repaired, but they can take a lot of abuse. Seen some NOD’s go through some shit and still run pretty well lol.

WTS kimber micro 9 nightfall + holster + spare mag + ammo. Have 1 full box of 20 hollow points, probably 7 rounds of hollow points in each mag, and 150 rounds of FMJ.

Gun is like new, probably has 50 rounds through it if that.

Asking $700 for all of it. Can deliver/meet as far south as phx. I’m also in flag and pinetop a lot.

516s are the piston with adjustable gas block. I was gonna post the same thing because I have a registered lower lol.

516s were discontinued in favor of the MCX system a few years back.

I need to stop spending money though, if I want a 7 inch 5.56 flame spitter I have my SLR106UR krink :spy:

The best SIG 556 imo... (Minus the 553, Ultimate dream gun)

    PXL_20210418_130641908.PORTRAIT.jpg

Mine.. 2014 build. Unfired until I got my hands on it. Made some custom little parts for it.. like the specific height Holosun Riser so I can co-witness my aftermarket flip ups.

I'm a big Sig nerd.. especially the 55X series.

It is. Not sure what the upper alone is worth or if I can make it worth it to you. Let me look around.

i don’t remember which 556 forum I was on, it seemed to die off when they discontinued production.

you bet, I love shooting that thing, even with the crappy PA red dot. Can easily hit steel @500
