I can't imagine running that thing "dry", you're going to need a helluva vacuum. I did mine in a 30x40 building and just kept the hose running and the shop-vac sucked up the slurry. Your floors look great!

No way you could run it dry haha I heavily saturated the floors one section at a time with a mop. We just finished the final touches and coated with sealer. I’m anxious to see the final product tomorrow. I wish I could run a hose inside though…haha

Finally done with the floors. Now it’s time to add trim, paint and move back in.

The single pane windows are super low to the floor. What did the building used to be?

Irrigation system all buried and done.

The only "stupid" part: C-19 shortages came up 3 good hose valves short. Forced to buy 3 crappy valves, and only found 2 good ones. They work but are tough to turn, leak prone and really super restrictive. Will replace in the spring

One last thing. For draining and clearing with air pressure: https://store.rainbird.com/3rc-quick-coupler-brass-valve.html

    https://store.rainbird.com/33dk-3-4-in-npt-double-lug-valve-key.html

Need to adapt the "key" 1/2" NPT female side (or 3/4" male) to use 1/4" air QD (I have plenty of the male NPT 1/4" air QD's). I need to buy more fittings!

Always residential, but an odd design. Insulated block, brick facade, poured concrete two stories. Stuccoed walls aside from the bare block we are furring strips and drywall. It’s been decades since anyone made any improvements and those “improvements” are getting improvements of their own haha sits on top of a small mountain that takes up most of the 30 acres with it. 360 panoramic view (well in the winter and more all the time when I crank the chainsaw), good bit of which is the national forest behind it.

Thanks! That’s what sold me on the property originally. I saw it in the late fall and was able to see the view through the trees. I’ve been clearing the land around the house to open up the view. Slow work as I can’t get the tractor in there and I get in trouble with the boss for not working on the inside haha

This is ours. Feels like a second job haha. I’d hire it out, but I alway get people dumber than me and that’s really bad… so I keep plugging away. I did the last house myself so it’s nothing new. Which kind of takes the thrill out of it honestly…
