Just wondering if anyone knows if the 2022 Tacoma will be exclusively made in Mexico? If so then TMMTX plant would be just finishing their last Tacoma production. Any plant workers on this forum to give an update?

I believe the Sequioa took the place of the Tacoma at Texas starting for the 2022 Model Year, the 2 plants in Mexico should now have full Tacoma production.

I remember seeing a recent post on their Instagram bragging/celebrating about this. I think trying to spin it as a good thing.

If your a nationalist, get a Ranger. But don't let the Mex plant scare you, as the Baja plant was rated higher than the Tex plant. This was Toyota's awards program.

I'm a nationalist myself, but a poor one. I think we should have taken Mexico 70 years ago.

California, Arizona. Texas and new Mexico are already 1/8 to 1/4 of the US. :anonymous::canada:

The tailgate will be stamped with TACO. Growing up on the border and going into Mexico a lot I remember seeing all these Chevrolet trucks that had Chevy on the tailgates instead in Mexico.
