    Food for thought from a Seahawks fan and perhaps an overreaction (but maybe not), what does Gino Smith going down the field for 10 points say (3 more than Russell in less time)? Does it look more like Pete has always been the genius to win all those games and maybe Russell is the lucky one to be set up in a winning culture?

    With Russell’s off-season bullshit, I’m leaning towards scuttling the ship and going rebuild while Pete is still employed, thinking his life in coaching has maybe 5 years.

    Is Russell going to be worth the draft capital when he (I feel inevitably) gets traded, especially if he comes off a shit season where he missed time on IR for the first time in his career? If you can insert a backup and get further in Shane Waldron’s offense than your 10 year tenured franchise qb, then what’s that say?

    OW. I remember Drew Bledsoe doing something similar back in the pre-Brady days here. IIRC he had surgery and a wire sticking out of the finger in an attempt to keep playing but had to shut it down about 2 weeks later.
