Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
@Rock Lobster That avatar of yours... So there I was enjoying an adult beverage (okay, several) one evening while catching up on TW. Got to one of your posts and decided it might be time to call it a night.

I mean, I'm not sure what the challenge is here. I replace them when holes get worn in them, and my ratchet straps stay relatively dust free.
They're ratchet straps, they're not going to fall apart with a little bit of dust.

I'm using them also. At first I had trouble gluing them in, until I realized that the trick was to crawl under the truck, and put them in from below (through the opening between the bed and the outer fender). Use 3M Plastic and Emblem Adhesive.

This is the larger side from the day I installed, about two years ago.
I'll need to take a picture of the other side, which will be pretty dirty.

I used to do this, but the amount of water and dust that got in just ruined everything. I have since switched to a waterproof 50 cal ammo can (plastic) and just keep it in the bed.

I have posted this before but it would be appropriate for this thread also. I have also sealed it up with Cubby Caps to keep the dirt and water out.

Here is the hose in the small box. It's a tight fit.

Really like the air compressor mount, nicely done:thumbsup: This is definitely on my wish list. But we just bought a new house and truck related expenditures are on an indefinite (but strict) hold until further notice.

Regarding the hookers, they are known for their compliance and flexibility.

Nothing. Had gloves in there but they got moldy. Had straps in left side and they got stolen. Surprised they left the door.

I've been considering whether or not to install the Titan "sidekick" auxiliary fuel tank on the passenger side. Hmmmm...I'm wondering if it will interfere with use of cubby and/or outlet? Anyone have one and offer a comment?
