I have a new Tacoma Off Road on order, I need to rubber bed mat. Could I ask 2 questions, what is the price from the dealer for the bet mat and do you think they would consider trading the expensive floor mats toward the bed mat?

Congrats, Cement was my choice originally but couldn't find one around here that wasn't sold so kept digging and settled for the LR. Love the sport's color fenders, looks fantastic.

How are you liking the drivability with the hood scoop?

Ah man, and to think i've been arguing with my sales guy for almost 2 months about getting a refund for the "etch" service they stuck me with.

 

@Xtremsiege2 I visited 4 different dealerships in my area in June and found a dealership that had 2 of the cement grey TRD Sports on order. Anyhow, I only had the truck for 2 days so I can't say too much. However, the hood scoop is definitely noticeable when I drive. It doesn't obstruct view or anything, but I think I can get used to it. How are you liking the drivability with the hood scoop?

 

Definitely noticeable, especially when you hop in the driver seat and look forward, but almost forget its there after a short drive, only about 7 weeks into owning mine.

 

I feel when I get in my Sport with the scoop is like getting behind the wheels of a sports car. Brings me back to old days of muscle cars with scoops and tunnel rams etc. Love it but it still does not drop panties of what I know cause I am not a young stud anymore

 

The hood skewp is the reason the Tacoma exists at all. Without the skewp, this would just be another Ridgeline! Enjoy the power and majestic elegance of the skewp!

In all seriousness, I like the look of the scoop, non functional or not. People say it is fake, a unicorn is fake, a fairy is fake, the Skewp is Real!
