I saw the 2013 Tacoma...

I'm afraid they are going to put the front of the 4 Runner on the Tacos... That's what I'm afraid of. I like the look of the Tacos now too much. I think the 4 Runner is kinda ugly.

 

I hope Toyota doesn't make the head lights and tail lights STICK OUT so much like on the Tundra and 4Runner. Those things would break easily off roading and I bet they wouldn't be cheap to replace. Plus they look Fugly as $2 hooker!

Off-road bumpers will look uglier with the 4Runner front end, because the stock bumper cover goes up to the headlight edge and forms the lower grille surround.

Well, at least the front turn signals are now located where god intended.

Well I like the front of the truck; looks like something I would buy, but the rest can change.

The cab is way to boxy, the bed sides are to high and doesn't flow with the body lines, the taillights stick out and they probably aren't LED like previous models, and the fenders are okay.

Though it is a good starting point.

 

Yea that is a nice "concept" minus the rear of the cab like you said (too boxy), and the tail lights. I think the bed looks nice in this photo shop. and X2 on the good starting point.

I also really like the look of the rear doors on the double cab 2nd gens, maybe carry that part of the design over?

Something tells me that Toyota's gonna ruin the Taco like how they pretty much ruined the 4Runner! (With the slight exception of the Trail Edition)

 

don't be fooled by your perceptions of aerodynamics er.. arrow dynamics. We're selling perceptions not reality in a lot of cars. Look at some of your 25-45mpg cars.. they aren't wedges.

Now I'm not saying that its great either.. just that it takes a wind tunnel to make any kind of judgement.

I know this is a shoop... but say this was really it. I'd imagine that this would be the highest priced package. Then anything below $21,000 would probably have steelie rims, no fog lights, non color matched bumpers and fender flares. Etc.

Commercials always show the highest package/fully loaded version of any car.

 

The house on the left needs more windows on the lower floor.
