    In a word, YES! To be honest, I can't think of a reason not to go quick change. For only marginal cost, it provides maximum flexibility for the future, allowing you to quickly and easily swap pulleys at-will.

    Time to tackle the job one more time.

    Qwikchange pulleys have a huge use because as mentioned it provides flexibility for the future.

    Example: Someone from Colorado moves to sea level like California. They would be running a 2.4 or 2.5 and then once they get down to sea level it allows a swap out of 10-20 minutes back to a larger size like a 2.8 no problem over a potential 1-2 hour swap out with the possibility of pulleys freezing on the shaft, having to cut it off (it can get really ugly), breaking the install tool threads inside the pulley shaft etc. Etc.

    The way our blowers are designed there are just too many dumb possibilities of error to occur during the removal and install of a new pulley and the qwikchange makes a pulley swap so easy and painless that it should be criminal.

    getting the 2.8 off for a quickchange hub is easier than removing the stock one.
    if thats the only oops this year youre doing fine.

    have there been any updates on LFP bearings for our s/c idlers? i checked through page 1 but didnt see anything.

    i got all new bearings for the supercharger stuff for like 70 bucks shipped from england. ordered ona tuesday and installed that friday

    nothing....yet. just looking to see if they plan on a heavy duty set for fellas like us.
    with a roush, 2.3, and a heavy foot i believe the idler bearings would be the weakest link.

    There really is no such thing as "heavy duty" bearings though. The RPM of the bearings are limited to it's size and how many balls can fit in the races. :notsure:

    Besides. With dual bearings in one idler, I would hardly say that is going to be the weakest link.

    Oh yeah dude. There are two in there. That's why it was a big deal to include it with the upgraded tensioner and I pushed it as hard as I have and did. :rofl:

    i know my tensioner has two. its the rest of the chinese spinneys im questioning.

    You opinions.

    been wanting to sell the xrunner. Been thinking either a srt8 jeep. Or getting the new is500 f sport.

    so with my work I can lease a Lexus and get $400 a month towards a lease. Making me want the is500. I got 2 boys. 5 and 3. The x runner can’t really handle them. But at the same time I think I’ll regret selling the x down the road like most people do when they sell a vehicle. What’s everyone’s thoughts.

    I’d keep that truck, too nice and becoming way too rare. Definitely something out there you can get to accommodate your needs. If your dead set on those 2 options, I’d definitely get the Lexus.

    I still want to buy you xrunner...just got 1.5 yrs left on my truck to pay off first. Why can't I have more money?!?! lol.

    I'd say Lexus. The HEMI Jeeps come with tons of recalls and their own issues. I had an 09 WK HEMI. LOVED the power. Super cramped engine compartment.
