Saw one guy in a jeep this morning. Perfectly clear and sunny, dude has got his ultra white fogs and ultra white low beams blinding everyone.

I only run my LED amber fogs when raining or foggy. Sometimes when it’s very dark so people will see me better.

White Castle. Grew up in NJ and I miss the crap out of them now that I'm living in FL. Frozen ones from the store aren't the same. It's not just a burger, it's an experience.

Agree, also TRD OR or TRD Pro is not a MOD, does people who own TRD OR or Pro only drive off road all the time?
2021 TRD OR is same price as TRD Sport (4x4 V6), Sport has a fake air intake, no crawl control, no Beilstein shocks, no skid plate, so why would anyone get Sport same price with less feature?

Raptor light (or clearance lights) is annoying as it doesn't serve any real purpose on a Tacoma which is not 80" wide.

Manual transmission, plus access cab long bed. Sport is the highest trim in that combo.

Even the DCSB TRD OR with MT still doesn't have crawl control since it's manual.

too be fair, I don’t get the whole trd thing. I can do bilsteins in an afternoon , the market is flooded with take off trd tire / rims with less than 1k miles, and you still need to buy more skids.

the styling is cool. Don’t get me wrong. But I don’t get it

I actually work with a guy who bought a sport and I let him know the exact differences between that and the OR and he didn't care. He had to have the hood scoop.

He ended up selling it after he realized it was basically just a fancy SR5.

The last thing he told me was "if I had bought and OR I'd probably still have it".

Yes, off road all the time. I actually drive on the grass on the side of the highway just for the experience.

The sport is in fact a little cheaper, but the price difference favors the offroad. Sport is good if you wanted the cosmetics-hood, painted fenders, larger wheels and planned to change the suspension up.

I don't understand people who do little to no research and just buy vehicles for the sake of a few must have options.

When I was researching the difference between models I thought the same so I went with the off road. Then I learned the hood scoop is fake and it solidified my choice. Fake hood scoops...how embarrassing

Not sure if I missed it.... but the TRD OR 2wd.... It's a dealer option, so I think counts as a mod.... but why? seriously... WHY?!

I drove an hour to see a Cement TRD OR DCLB at a dealership, got there and that's when they told me it was a 2wd. Why is this even a toyota option?

I had to get a sport to get a manual in DC configuration. Well I could’ve got a pro but for 61k, no thanks.

Love my sport though, no regrets. It’s awesome on and off-road.

I wondered about this too, but don’t a bunch of the high speed desert runners run 2WD with a rear locker? That’s what the 2WD OR is I think. Could be wrong on that, but I recall reading it here.

They do run 2wd, but the locker is really dependent on where they are and it's usually not used during actually pre-running as its much easier to control the rear end at speed with the diff open, less oversteer to contend with and easier to carry speed. This is also 100% coming 2nd hand from friends in LV.

Most start with the base model as half the truck is going to be replaced anyway.

Everything the dude says in this vid is true, and I don't get leaving one on a vehicle full time...but I feel like a RTT is like any other tent, in that it serves a specific purpose. While I don't currently own a RTT I do have several tents from a tiny backpacking tent to an obnoxious dual room "festival" tent. I wouldn't take my tiny tent to a 3 day concert just as I wouldn't strap my 5 person tent to my back and haul it up a mountain.

Anyway, I suppose I look at it like adding another tool to the camping tool box. To each their own though.

If you think that extra foot in length keeps us from getting "offroad" you're easily fooled.

What if my roads look like this?

Here I am crawling to the mall.

Can't I have a locker and longbed for days like this?

Its also handy in the summer to have a locker for wet boat ramps.
