Morning friends.

Packed up stuff at my sister’s house yesterday. Comic books? Yup. My nephew is a collector and left it there when he moved to San Diego. I moved over 50 boxes. The complete Superman set - even the one where he dies. Dr. Strange, Avengers, and waaaay too many others.

The plan is to head over there today. Late BIL’s sports memorabilia is on tap. I think most is going to the transfer station (fancy name for the dump). Autographed photos, etc. Babe, etc, even Gleason playing golf.

She won’t have a tag sale as she’s afraid of someone coming back to “pay a visit”. I don’t blame her actually.

Foggy again this morning.

Got a birthday party at noon and a wedding after that.

 

Left inside is bone on bone, but the rest looked surprisingly well (or at least better then I expected)! We're going to do a unloader brace and a series of Gel shots. I'm not ready to think about replacements yet. Thanks for asking

You guys get up too early on weekends I'm still laying in bed checking my "watched threads" & "alerts ".

Gonna take some mulch up to my sister's house and then go to visit dad at the nursing facility.
May get some rain today. I need to mow, but probably won't be dry enough for a few days yet.

Okay, okay, I'm gettin' outta bed and making some scrambled eggs now. Have a wonderful weekend y'all

I would do the Gel injections as long as possible and not go the knee replacement route . I'm on my 4th revision of my knee replacement that had originally done 6 years ago

Yeah it would be.
I can't believe he drove that Land Cruiser from Utah. Sarah & Caroline drove the Lexus.
....and Brad & Regina from Trailrecon drove from southern California.

 

They have a agenda for sure. The great thing about these folks is you can't tell what the agenda is. If you look at the Expedition Overland it's a rolling advertisement for the most expensive shit on the market. Pull out the card to join the club...lol.
Love the swag these folks have too. That bear is cool as hell.

My son is only 3 1/2 and he already has a little sarcastic streak.
For example I'll say "C'mon get in the car" and he'll say "it's not a car daddy it's a truck. I'll say "put on your shoes" and he'll say "they're not shoes daddy they're sandals".
My son learned the planets when he was around 2 and he loves astronomy and since Venus and Jupiter are usually very visible I routinely point them out to him.
So last night Venus was next to the crescent Moon and I say "look at the crescent Moon, do you know what planet is next to it ?" and he says "the Earth is next to the Moon"
