Been pretty busy over the past 2 days. I installed Rav4 radio knobs, an N2 Designs remote start kit, Meso V5 mirror turn signals, and I got my new Clazzio leather seat covers installed on the rear seats (not the headrests yet).

The V5s were hooked up to the DRL from the headlights, so the bright/dim functions mirror the headlight functionality. I already have V2 puddle pods, and I "converted" the ignition circuit within that harness to a DRL circuit, so that they illuminate bright or dim based on the headlight switch position, rather than being bright every time the ignition is on and then dim once the parking lights are turned on. My old Meso turn signals were going to get posted for sale here on the forum, but there has been a ton of them for sale on here already after the V5s got released. So I installed them on my wife's 2021 Highlander, and they fit/function perfectly. Despite the fact that the new Highlander uses the exact same lights as the Tacoma, the process of swapping them out was a HUGE pain in the ass vs. doing it on the Tacoma. The entire mirror needs to come apart (including removing the reflective glass portion), because the screws that secure the plastic piece that holds the light are inserted from the glass side instead of the back side.

For the Clazzios, I did the "under the plastic" method for the rear seats. I found it was much easier to re-install the seat-back plastics back over the leather covers if I used a "T" shape for the cuts instead of simply cutting slits. Next up is the headrests and then the front seats, along with the Clazzio headed seat kit that I need to wire up and install.

There's always that. I can remember as a kid, dad and mom would load us up and drive through the Delta to see my dad's family. And my mom would get so sick because of the pesticides on the cotton.

Even to this day, she still gets sick in the late summer. She don't live near cotton fields anymore, but can still smell it in the breeze.

No it is the KB voodoo. Hindsight being 2020 I could have gotten one of a single brand but the money was burning a hole

I have to live vicariously through you guys. I think that a good portion of the US economy is maintained by the fine ladies and gentlemen on TW.

It wouldn’t be ok, for you to lay all that down on the “kitchen table”? Unless that’s a “live in” garage unit?

Do you have aftermarket shocks? If so, be curious to know how much lift you get.

I will be installing my lift probably the end of this month. A member on here will be installing the ECGS clamshell bushing for me as well. Was piecing it together, wanted to wait for the HS aal to be back in stock since you don't have to trim the factory retainer clips. I also ordered the 1/2 shims a few days later from HS to get the 2" lift.

I'm going with 6112/5160 set on 6/5 circlip and also waiting for my new wheels, SCS Matte Gunmetal Ray10s 17x8.5 -10 with 265/70/17 wildpeaks.

Also purchased mine down in Georgia years ago, and also have a rare TRD Offroad 4x2. Honestly it's been perfect for me, never had any issues driving through snow/rain, going camping, light off-roading, etc. The truck is perfectly capable doing pretty much the same stuff that everyone else does with their 4x4s
