Not sure what you mean about nightmare, I’m several years past my senior citizenship, lol. Took about 5.5 hours at a very easy pace by myself. Better, it’s better for me : )

I would say, do what you want as long as it doesn’t hurt others, feelings not included.

Safety. The higher you decide to lift your truck, the more dangerous it can become. While considered pretty much useless unless you are a professional backroad driver, the high center of gravity caused by lift kits can make cars unstable on highways.

So is someone going to give the forum some valuable information regarding the body lifts and the install? A few people clearly have already on their Tacoma's, or is the stupid ass attitudes just going to continue ? Dam

Defiantly want to see profile pics of the whole truck. Also, OP can you tell us why you went this route and why you like the results?

WOW…glad someone captured the first truck to ever flip over and it had a body lift. What’s next, someone has a tire blowout and all tires are bad, lol.

PS, this is my 4th Tacoma that I’ve installed a body lift on, none of them exploded : ).

    Good luck gents !

    A few.
I put a 3" bodylift on my first 2 Toyota trucks back in the 90's They were under $100.00 for the kit back then. These days you can buy a 2-3" suspension lifts for the price of a bodylift kit.

Where are the full shots of the truck.... side, front, 3/4, action.... all we have seen is really close shots of very specific things.

Younger members might not know about this event. I received a brand new set of Michelin AT's for my 1991 Ford Explorer out of the subsequent recall from this. It all came down to shitty drivers.

I went in some mud with mine but no f...way I'll take my truck up some boulders to prove what?...up in Canuckistan you easily drop 50k for Tacoma!...to each their own!

I run a 1” body lift to help clear the 37s and I’ve never had any issues or concerns. Install is easy and you can take it off just as easy. 3EF353BE-5950-4C0D-926F-EEACE5288540.jpg

1” on my old 2019 ext cab and 1” on my current 2021. Installed 2” on my old 2000 and 2004, never a single issue with many trips to Big Bend, CO, AZ, Utah & NM. Like anything else you install on your vehicle, make sure it’s good quality and installed properly, don’t let others work on you junk.

Incoming troll here... body lifts are wack as fuck. Lame excuse to be able to “huck it more” or “clear my 37” tires cause I got a small dick”. When I see people with body lifts I automatically know they’re not really a truck person, just a hack/kook. Literally serves no purpose. But hey, to each his own.
