Heh. Dude I tried to tag you, but the name wasn't coming up. Ah well.

Had yellow paint, thought about SpongeBob. Realized I didn't have other colors to work. So it's a pseudo-Van Halen thing.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
So Zero Datk Thirty was a failure to launch. Winds above 500 feet were too fast and blowing toward the mountains. One balloon went up with "The Colors" and the National Anthem. It was quite the sight with 500 burners lit during the anthem and launch. Everyone else remained grounded. Still a spectacular sight.

It wasn't planned. It was a stop on our route. We found out it was this weekend when we wondered why the hotel cost so much.

I feel bad for shitposting on your build thread, then I see that you have 55k+ posts, and realize thats probably how you got there haha

I was going to weld my sliders on this weekend, but its been raining so I can't driving into my backyard without destroying my grass. Gonna at least weld the pieces together and get them ready.

Yeah my thread is fair game to talk about whatever. In the early days we’d jump 20 pages in a day, it was ridiculous lol

To be honest I figured I'd just do the rusty copper color rattle can on the sliders, trio of skids and why not the slimline+wings. Then who knows when it's paint vs. surface rust.

Now all of a sudden I'm not so sure...your freestyle approach has been inspirational, so who knows!

Don't look at mine or you'll spend tons of money at Line-x.

I just have to pick a color and run with it! No line-x necessary, worse case I'll have the neighbor Powder Coat what he can.
If I really wanted to throw $ at it, I'd Cerakote it all!

This is so strange. You & your wife went there for your anniversary. And I have a good friend who lives in Romney. He & his wife also went there for their anniversary. He posted pics on IG. They actually went up in one of the hot air balloons.
