We own an 86 platform FR-S triple collab. :notsure:

It was easy peasy morning fun TBH. Coffee and breaker bars. 5/7 would wrench again.

Thanks for the invite. I'll keep an eye out for something with a M62 in it.

@CygnusX191 i was able to finally drive a frontier! im gonna copy what i already typed up and post it here

i went out and drove 3 trucks today i drove a 2019 toyota tacoma trd sport v6 with the 6 speed manual, 2021 ford ranger xlt with the fx4 package, and the all new nissan frontier pro4x
all these trucks drove great but ill put down what i thought of each atm i still dont know what id go with out of the 3 still thinking
the first was the tacoma the tacoma drove very familiar but with a refresh feel and with it having the manual trans it was a lot better and much more enjoyable and reminded me of my little 91 pickup i use to have. (so in the feeling category it was the best i guess?) Its tech isnt bad but its a bit old and its mpg really isnt that great either for a smaller v6 but overall it was a good truck that i really did enjoy driving and with it having the manual it was way better then the auto those trucks have.....
    244724944_4547105255355407_6755469051557_3936e2b51b032f6df67818c6cd774de0cfd10f1d.jpg

the ranger drove just like the last one i drove...... but this one comes with all the offroad goodies so rear locker and some other bits here and there. However it didnt have the 302a package with the heated seats and stuff but i can look past that pretty easily since my truck doesnt have it either. Both me and my dad enjoyed the ranger a lot with its getup and go and the overall room in the cab the only issue with both saw is its a turbo motor and thats just another thing that can wear out and is rather pricey to replace (i own a turbo car yes so i know its true they do eventually die or can die from hard use) but overall it was a great truck and i still stand behind that it surprised me on how good the truck is and how it feels and its tech is also good nothing fancy but nothing super dated id say. one thing i cant stand is that damn steering wheel ford please change that damn steering wheel!!! its terrible!! not in a use way just in a looks department
    245258717_4547105548688711_1472473733198_a18de97707164140fee9627148f13d251d302801.jpg

the frontier i drove was a great truck and nissan has done a great job updating it and bringing it finally to the 21st century with all the tech and gadgets in it and the updated interior and overall look of the truck. now the chassis looks to be the same as the last gen so it still has its odd rear shock mounts (look rather thin and easily breakable if you wheel it hard which im not doing anymore btw) the truck drove very well and for a 3.8 na motor it had good getup and go not as good as the ranger and its turbo 4 but still very good acceleration. however the two things i did dislike is its turning radius and how heavy the steering is......... at lower speeds its a very stiff steering truck which isnt a bad thing its just odd.... the turning radius thou is pretty poor tbh its not a tight turning truck so the dealer lot wasnt super easy i guess? but overall its not terrible just slightly worse then a 2nd gen tacoma id say on turning radius.
    245145394_4547105465355386_6228959303853_a7fcace8474107982e36dc9c9f56a8fcb095706c.jpg

thats about it for the main things no i still dont know what ill go with im still thinking on what to do and all that so dont expect anything to happen soon just an fyi.

Interesting. 2nd gen Frontiers don't have the greatest turning radius either. With the Titan front/suspension swap though.... They get nasty good. Also, the rear shock mounts hold up really well on 2nd gens that get thrashed, so I wouldn't worry about these too much

ya i figured it would be fine its just such an odd design but overall the frontier was great man Nissan did a lot of work on that truck and it shows it should compete very well with the current midsize lineup

The 20+ Tacoma has more tech than 19 and before. Also you can get more or less depending on the option packages

I would struggle to buy a new truck these days. Same old shit in an ugly package with newer and more fragile tech. Bleh.
