That is so random. On the bright side that should be your full ration of bad karma for awhile. Good luck with the repairs.

If I can buy and build a truck in a week you can certainly figure out a tent.

Don't let a little mishap stop you!

    Can't like this.
Mother nature truly is a bitch.
The only thing I can say which might inspire you is that some men are born to greatness, others have it thrust into them.
The bright side is you no longer have to worry about trail damage to your bed.
Hoping the tent is ok, that could be more of a hassle than the bedside.
You've probably already come up with both a short term and a long plan by now, keep us posted, were rooting for you.

Yes luckily it hit the bed about 1 foot behind the cab.

Very random, and hopefully it is out for a while indeed.

Not worried about the tent, figure I'll go back to a cap set up. The composite on the bedside is torn.

Rely depends on when the insurance company will let me get my hands on it. I'm sure that'll be after the weekend when I work 10 hour days.

I haven't been out all year and look forward to this event. I'm going to try to pull something together, hopefully things turn around.

Well. Here's the upshot. Take pictures now and then bean it at the event. Then it more stuff happens. Oh must have been from the tree

Glad you're okay man. Could have been a lot worse.

I'm covered there. It is more of dealing with the insurance company and working 10 hour days. No one in until tomorrow to tell me if I can start tearing the old bed off.

In for green and blues Friday. I should arrive at AOAA around 12 noon. Pack your rain gear.

Oh I haven't looked at the weather. .

I am TBD on timing. Could either get there around noon, around 3, or around 6-7 if I work Friday.

I am also in for green & maybe some blue on Friday, and green/blue on Saturday. I also have a pull through campsite for Friday & Saturday with only my truck and me, so some space is available if someone needs a place to park/camp.

Cool beans y'all. I'll probably try to get there before sundown. I don't have any setup time though. Don't think I'll wheel Friday though.

Is it cash only admission by the way?

We're going to do a 50/50 raffle this year, proceeds to the American Heart Association. Next year we'll try to do a traditional raffle for off-road parts.

Group site is #146, take the first right when you get into the campground, and go all the way back to the powerlines. We'll be chilling and have a fire Friday night, raffle and steaks + beer Saturday night.

    Steaks? Where?!

I think I have the site right beside the group site if there's no electric run to the group site for lights.
