USUALLY this would still be covered by insurance. Check with your agent to be sure. Most people who don't have full coverage won't get paid for damage to their vehicle in an accident where they are at fault. That is the most expensive part of the coverage and dropping it will usually reduce your rates by 1/2. Most everything else is still covered.

That's collision insurance, theft and other damages like this are covered under Comprehensive. most states only require liability which only covers at fault accidents and bodily injury if you owe on the vehicle the bank requires you to have full coverage. It pays to understand EXACTLY what your insurance covers and the coverage you have.

If you can see what they took start with those things replacing them. You will probably need to take it to someone who can program the mobilizer part.
From what you listed you'll need an ECU, ignition switch, and immobilizer. The ECU may need progamming and definitely the immobilizer.

Used ECU, which matches your vehicle drivetrain/specifics.

    Get it recalibrated.

If you claim it on insurance they might total it, then you have to deal with a salvage title. If that doesn’t matter to you, then definitely go through insurance. My insurance company allowed me to buy back the Volkswagen van that I lost. I rebuilt it and sold it but the salvage title brought the price down a lot.

go to Car-part.com and you can look up parts available at wrecking yards by location. From there you can call and see if they have everything you need from a single truck.

    1. You can try and figure all the parts you need. 2. Tow to dealer or mechanic and have them work up a full quote of all the parts you need then tow it back home and start looking for the listed parts. 3. Let the dealer fix it.(most expensive) 4. Get full coverage unless you have the financial means to bite the bullet any time something like this happens.

    Suggest a couple of things.
    1. Sorry about your truck. I've been through a similar experience.
    2. Contact your insurance agent. This should be covered by your Comprehensive, assuming you have that coverage.
    3. Fix or repair your keyboard. The punctuation keys aren't working. Your posts are difficult comprehend.

    Good luck.
