Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.

I bought bumper shells to cover mine up. Covered the emblems with black layovers as well. Chrome does not suit the modern trucks as well as it did the older ones. I was scratching my head as to why Toyota chose to put a chrome bumper and accents on the Tacoma.

I thought the only stand alone color was super white and all others had clear coats? I’m not a paint expert either, just something I read on here.

So they could charge folks for midnight editions, nightshade editions, emblem overlays, black headlight/taillight housings as optional packages.

I’ve been looking at the TRD lift that must be installed by the dealer to maintain any kind of warranty. Sounds pretty good 2” lift in the front, 1” in the rear. New bilsteines all the way around, new heritage grille, new sensors ect…..BUT they have to cap my fog lights because of the 2” lift in front? Really? Seems like there would be another way around this? I’m not losing my LED fog lights. Guess I won’t be getting this after all.

Rumor has it that most dealerships will leave the fogs if you just ask.

    Ok cool - thanks
Wasn’t sure if it was a legal thing or not. I’ll look into it further

I have the trd lift and expressed concern about the fog lights, the dealership told me they do not remove the fog lights and thought the fact that toyota was putting it out there that they need to be removed was silly. (This is in Idaho) I was very pleased with the lift, enough to beef it up, change the stance and not go to big

    That’s great! Thanks
Was looking through the kit online and noticed the caps were included. Researched it a little and read they had to be removed. I mean I rarely turn mine on anyway but I sure don’t want a plastic cap in their place.

Total shot in the dark, but anybody got any army green color matched text grills they can share pictures of?

I’ve had a passing interest in Empyre Off Road’s Raptor style grill color matched, but in their website they don’t have images or mock ups of the army green version. Would really love to get the raptor style grill in green that says “Tacoma” on it, but I guess my imagination sucks too much to drop $400 blind.

Shucks, had a 50/50 chance. Figured you being in ID Hood is slightly closer. Sounds fun!
