Nothing with the frame. Just a 31M battery above 20 gauge steel lmao

Man that sucks. I was worried about the same thing happening to my truck so I went to a dual battery set up and moved the group 31 battery to the bed.. Are you going to weld a plate to it or just weld the cracks?

A little bit of both. The steel is so thin

Can't afford that this year with wheels and tires.

Asked about snagging someone's tray that doesn't want/need it.

Trying to live vicariously through me? Lol believe me, I do that also. Ever since mid-end of 2019, spending the money has been less of a headache. No boss, no argument.

Nah, was just showing you the only alternative I knew of besides garage fixes. And yes I know about the freedom of being able to buy just for yourself... as I sit surrounded by about 3k in parts that need to be installed...lol

Spent some time in the garage this morning. All wiring.

Fixed my driver's side fog light; flickering on the highway Friday night. There was a bad connection. 5 minute fix tops.

Reaimed my projectors; results from having to use my headlights after discovering the fog lights flickering. Need to test some more at night. Started pouring rain.

Repaired my reverse lights; last time it was just the one. This time it was both. Checked the fuse. Fuse was fine. Next, I checked the ground. Took everything apart and tested the lights with my DeWalt battery and they worked. Cut out the bad connection, rewired everything and they work again. :luvya:

    As series of bad connections...

Afternoon of errands and hopefully some relaxation afterwards.

Weekends go by way too fast.

Unsure. I have the 3ton LPLR as a garage jack. My 1.5T + PE is my bed mounted offroad jack. Itll get a back tire off the ground, qnd likely the front jacking off an A arm. Might lift it from the frame but havent tried.

Speaking of, final parts are arriving today. Excited to get it fitted up and working. Been sitting on my worktable all blown apart since last week

Also, I think I came up with a good solution for under the battery tray. More to come soon.

I wouldn't say that this takes 2 minutes to swap everything over, but, it's complete:

    From today:

    1) cleaned out the bed of all debris
    2) removed the hi-lift jack
    3) planned on mounting the 1.5 bastard jack but ran out of time
    4) greased the upper BJs
    5) greased the driveshaft
    6) greased the swingout hinge

    Ran out of time for:

    1) bolt check
    2) swap out summer air for winter air in the tires
    3) check oil level

Hopefully this week after work one day

I did the air swap in under an hour. My tires feel more round now.
