Did someone say color matched handles? Mine isn’t a limited either. I do have leather seats but no sunroof. You could’ve ordered it any way you wanted couldn’t you?

Probably, it seems like there was no definitive rhyme or reason to the options offered on 1st gens. Except that you could never get a manual trans with a double cab. Which was Toyota's greatest sin with the 1st gens imo

At least with first gens, there were only a very few specific things that were applied to each option, but those change with each option dependant on the option of the varied option that was chosen for the one option but not the specified option that had the option to have the option of that.

    Confusing?

    Yeah.

In a way they did offer the DC in manual, everything is there for it, just diy. They knew us better than we knew ourselves.

Been in Colorado since Wednesday and until Monday...can't wait to move out here next year. I've seen some ridiculous trucks but also some just mint stockers. Makes me want to sell my Midwest bucket and save till I get out here. Jealous of you all. This state is amazing, especially when you're from Ohio :pout:

Bed extender finally came! But it's been pouring rain all weekend, and the truck doesn't fit in the garage with the gate down. So I'll wait.

After 4 sets of seats I finally found what I like.
My current was corbeau baja xrs. Seats were short for my back. They were 35" heigh. Repalced it with Trailcat taller seats and less wider bottom cushion. Perfect fit and what I wanted. No side bolstering on bottom cushion but very wide side bolstering onthe back. Very very comfirtable and fits great into a first gen tacoma.
I just have to say is an amazing seat company. They have gone above and beyond to make me happy. I did pay for shipping for 2nd and 3rd set but using their shipping corporate label. So it was not all that expensive. If you ever decide to get seats for any of your rides go with this brand. Their customer service is amazing! First image side by side drivers side is the seat
being replaced (XRS) Passenger side is the new seat (TrailCat)

    Here are both seats installed

Here are another set of Corbeau seats I tried before all this and did not like

Trying to address some driveline vibes I'm getting mostly in reverse, but in 1st gear occasionally as well. Got a new Spicer carrier bearing I'm planning to install this week, just need to pick up a stake nut from the dealer. If that doesn't help I'll probably throw some axle shims at it. I also took this video of the transmission mount play. Does this seem excessive or normal?
