FS: Rear Seat Delete Deck for 3rd Gen Double Cab Tacomas (Double Cab and Access Cab)

We are currently working on a access cab version. should have the designed finished in the next few weeks.

 

I am trying to dial in measurements for a seat delete design for a Gen 3 Access Cab. I have a preliminary design but would like the opportunity to test fit it, to see if any adjustments are needed.

My friend and I have a wood shop in Los Angeles in the vernon/ boyle heights area.

I am looking for someone with a gen 3 access cab that wouldn't mind meeting me at the shop, or even somewhere else in the LA area, for us to test fit our design.

Will need to remove the back seats, which takes about 10 minutes and then slide this seat delete in and see how it fits, take some measurements for changes, and then reinstall your rear seats.

Willing to give a case of beer of your choice for your trouble.

Hopefully there's someone out there with an access cab that wouldn't mind lending a hand.

Any chance you are working on a 2nd Gen as well?

 

not at the moment. I don’t personally know anyone with a gen 2. But if you’re close to LA we could use your truck for measurements….

 

If it wasn't a 22hr drive, I'd totally lend my truck for testing... hopefully someone closer can though. I'm excited for an access cab version!

Looks great can the seats go all the way back and also tilt back and how does it look, and pricing?

 

Access cab is priced the same as the double cab since the material is practically the same as well as the time on Cnc.

This looks awesome. So is this with the seat pads removed?

 

For the access cab with factory rear seats, you must remove the rear seat pads and the rear center console

if you want to remove the backs of the rear seats, then you will need to order the seat delete for the access cab without factory rears seats, and replace the back paneling with some sort of panel or Molle system.
