    Here is a screen shot when the tune was being done at 100 degrees.
    Tune was not complete but shows the two Dyno runs with the stock ECU and the Haltech ECU when it was being tuned.

    My October tune will be with temperatures at 50-60 degrees and with better boost numbers because of the temperatures

    You can see the new power comes on at 2k rpms now

    So it's kinda hard to see what's going on there . What were the #'s ? .. we get that there gonna be lower because of the heat. Also are they RWHP?

    The tune was not finished when this quick photo was taken, it was a Dyno tune so it was on the Dyno the whole time, so I don’t have a finished tune number because we had problems with the crankshaft sensor that Gabe had to fix later with the software and the methonal boost sensor is not working correctly right now, it’s spray inconsistently giveing me rich and then lean conditions so a new boost MAF is on order now

    No, at 4500rpms is peak it levels off because of the cams.
    I’m ok,its a daily driver for me.
    The real fun is all the new power at the lower end that comes on immediately

    Is there a different route to go to get around the toyota dirty crankshaft signal?
    The truck is running great now, better than it every has,
    BUT at the redline the crankshaft sends a check engine light that clears after the engine is turned off.

    Is there a different aftermarket crankshaft sensor that can be installed to get around this bug? That puts out a cleaner signal?

    Quick update,
    Myself and Skyler both got our Haltech installed about the same time.
    We both have the 3.4 Supercharged 5 speed.
    All the bugs have been worked out for Skyler and his redline was able to be moved up to 6000.
    For whatever reason my new crankshaft sensor still keeps my motor at 5200 rpms and throws a light.
    Apparently some of these trucks have this bug to deal with and others don't,
    If it keeps my rpms at 5100 it's fine too.
    So Just an update on this bug if you go this route.
    Here is Skyler in Mexico doing a run, running stock motor, larger injector and 340lph AEM pump and haltech.

    The haltech is a game changer!

    He’s running 650cc injectors,
    But theres NO reason to need that size in my opinion.
    With the haltech you have a fuel map that can adjusted.

    I replaced my fuel pump with the high flow 340 LPH pump and now I don’t need any methonal and the fuel map had to be turn way now because it was running very rich in the AFR of 9.

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    Yeah 650s are a bit overkill for low boost on a small V6. But that's the beauty of a standalone you can tune them in just fine. I probably would stay around 380-400 for the TRD SC but that's just cause I'm a cheapass haha. Ideally when tuning you don't want to go to the edge of what your injectors are capable of, max of 85% duty cycle is best. Never have to worry about them sticking open or becoming inconsistent if you don't push them to their edge. Having a standalone tune is nice in that respect though, you can scale it to your injector size whenever you want if you decide to get new injectors, then it's just fine dialing after that (which is a constant thing anyway with custom tunes and something your haltech should be capable of itself with long term trimming)

    Also re your question about cam and crank sensors, yes there is an aftermarket option, you wont like the price or legwork involved though.

    My stock fuel pump was not keeping up and put in a 340lph pump, nows it's rich in the AFR 9
    Need to get this retuned fist

    Yes,it was Dyno tuned with the original fuel pump and methonal.

    Now the new 340lph fuel pump puts out more than enough fuel and methonal is NOT needed.

    They are always busy and making an appointment was 3 weeks out last time for the Dyno tune
