Right on. I’m not built enough for anything close to blacks yet. I know you were getting there when I wheeled with you a few years back at AOP. My current truck has a long ways to go still. Moderate blues is all I’m good for atm lol

 

When the rest of the Tennessee guys come back we will put together a more mild trip than what harlan would be. But for mild trails windrock is cool because you get so much scenery.

 

I’ve been to Harlan when I had my Tacoma. Pretty fun place for sure. Pretty sure my runner would only hold the green trails there lol maybe a little blue. But I’d be absolutely down for that when they get back.

Got it. I found Sportsmans warehouse and love it anyway. REI has always been very expensive. Tractor supply is also my new thing, I did not realize they had clothing and boots / shoes! The Ridgecut brand is nice!

 

Sportsmans warehouse seems high price for some things but not all. Also often has stuff I couldn't find in stock elsewhere.

 

How the heck is everyone? I just moved here to east TN from Tampa because it's just better here. I was looking at some easy trails because I'm a beginner with trucks and off-roading, but have some experience in autox and drifting. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself, hope you're all doing alright.

 

Have you been to tail of the dragon yet? Definitely fun with a sporty car.

As far as easy trails out that way I'm not 100% about them but some of the Tennessee guys will China in

 

Are you north or south? Either way if you head toward Knoxville area, nemos tunnel is a cool ride and popular for beginners. There’s some trails and fire roads in the area that go by the old train stuff and whatever. Makes for a fun day. Telico plains area seems popular for the Jeep’s for whatever reason. North GA has a lot of good trails that are good for beginners. There a couple spots down near Chattanooga as well that the locals out here hit quite often. Depends on what’s in your area of travel. I rode it in my 4Runner last year and one of my kids still really wants to go back with the FRS.

 

He's fine, thank the lord. It's amazing what will flip when it just doesn't seem physically possible.

 

Very nice, I bet that will be a blast. I sold mine to help fund this truck, was definitely the best handling car I've ever owner.

 

Hey guys,

I already posted this in the Nashville thread but I am sure it applies to all of TN also. I am insurance shopping and being offered glass replacement covered. In CA I would not have needed it (unless I was in San Francisco let's say) but here in Middle TN with hail, would it come in handy?

 

Have not needed it for hail in the Ktown area. Been here 16 years and no hail has been large enough to damage windshields.
