My chrome "TACOMA" license plate frame has served me well, but I'm thinking that these might fit the theme of the truck a little better...

Looks like that severed foot made the bloody print on the tailgate...

 

Bought a bag of severed fingers at work today; Again, 30% off!

 

They seem to be staying pretty good...

 

Added some blood splatters and bloody footprints; See if you can find them!

 

Porter doesn't seem to be scared of the zombies and their assorted body parts anymore...

 

I'm gonna make money, but not a lot; Keep in mind I have a primary job with a 401K and paid vacations that pays $17 an hour! This was more of just an experiment to try out secondary sources of income that don't involve putting up to and sometimes over 2,000 miles on my truck in a month (Like DoorDash); This November when I put the lights on the truck for Christmas, I'm gonna be doing DoorDash while driving around with lights on so I can (A) recoup the obscene amounts of gasoline I burn, and (B) make money while having fun at the same time!

If there's anything this job at the Halloween store has taught me, it's that work retail isn't as bad as I thought it was, and if I ever needed a second source of income I could handle it! It's better than working at that fucking detail shop!

 

Honestly, this is only gonna net me like an extra $140-$150 a week at the most, and that's BEFORE taxes! I did not take this job for the money or even for the zombie parts; It's about networking and having references that will help me when I apply for better jobs down the road! It's also a very fun and energetic environment, and my supervisor Evan genuinely cares about his employees. Also, my truck is an absolute hit with customers, so everybody wins!

I made a very rookie mistake and I don't want photographic evidence of it online; I added oil to the truck in the parking lot after work as planned, but two families with kids approached me wanting to look at the truck before I could even open the hood. I was all too happy to let them see the truck, but then a third family walked up while I was putting the oil in, and I got distracted; Thankfully, Spirit Halloween is only like three miles from my house!

What did I do? I left the funnel sticking out of the engine and didn't put the filler cap back on, and I didn't realize what I'd done until I popped the hood when I got home...

Luckily, the only "damage" was oil splatter on the underside of the hood; As of this post, I have just added more oil and am about to start the truck and let it idle...

 

Even the Z.O.R.T. fleet needs preventive maintenance!

 

I don't think I've ever heard this song before, but I like it!

 

Whenever I hear this song, I am always reminded of the beauty pageant scene from Bad Grandpa...

 

Exposure to water makes "Johann Schmidt" look even more realistic!
