This garage was in pretty bad shape, lots of rotted wood, just trying to preserve it and get it ready for the roofers to do their thing.

Woah that’s like real work, how about I just make coffe in the mornings lol. I grind my beans for fresh coffee, Black Rifle Just Black for wake up, smooth Hawaiian Kona if I want a cup evenings :)
I drop in here from time to time it’s just been a while. Haven’t retired yet but starting to think seriously about it.

Thant will work! Just keep it coming. :D Welcome to the crew!!

Good morning everyone. Got our grass cut yesterday. The ground is totally saturated - worst I've ever seen it. When I walked the dogs this morning I could still see the indentations from the tires on the mower in the front yard.

    Be safe out there!

I've only mowed once this summer when it was actually dry. It will be interesting to see the yearly rainfall totals.
Blurb on morning news this am. 10 Oct. first snow hits the High Sierra.

Good morning all, coffees brewing! I’m not quite the early bird though so @Devious6 and @06Tacooo I bet you had yours hours ago haha.
my latest Tacoma hobby upgrades include adding Spiker Engineering hood struts, I like them a lot! First time using a rivet gun so I practiced some first on several different types of rivets including the ones that came with the struts. Quite fun and I always like learning something new. And getting new tools as a bonus!

This was my weekend to replace the crank pulley on the Garage Queen. Got the new pulley last week but the oil seal won’t get here until Tuesday so I had to defer. Heading up to Ocala next weekend so nothing will get done then. So today I’m gonna veg out in front of the TV and watch the Bucs at 1 and the Rays at 4. Tomorrow morning I go to get my elbow drained again. 3BEF022C-AE5E-4FCD-AF7B-AADEDFCF052F.jpg

Happy Sunday to all. Today is about cleaning the downstairs of the house and having my cousin and her husband over for dinner. Planning on doing a strip steak roast on the smoker. Tried to do a pork belly again yesterday and failed. It is a hard cut of meat to master and takes too long to render all the fat out. I will try again in a few weeks.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & gals! Nothing but goofing off and a couple steaks on the agenda today. Got to recover from that Longhorn disaster! Good to get out and see some friends at the C&C. San Antonio has been running again about 4 months, Austin still has not. (Probably COTA does not want to have to comply with all the ATX restrictions).

Here's a couple few shots from yesterday you might enjoy!

Love the pics , especially the red XKE Jag. Had one many years ago. Finest car I ever owned. Very fast, nimble, comfortable, sexy. Brings back some great memories. Thanks for sharing Kurt.

I am enamored with the Ford pickup. What is that, about a ‘48?

I'm going to say '48, based on this:
Spotting Guide: Ford Trucks '46 to '56 (drivetribe.com)

The interior had been completely done modern equipment, but "old" black and white gauge faces. Looked to have a Vintage Air pack, hidden audio, the works. I had a '54 for a while, when I was young and stupid. And a '53 Chevy Sedan Delivery. I'd rather still have them, and be stupid now!

Great pictures of some nice cars!

The Datsun 510 wagon in the background is one of my favorites, the sedans were great cars too, I just have a thing for wagons. Not glamorous but sharp and clean looking from every angle, perhaps even classy looking, practical and fun to drive too.

    Ahh bursitis…….

    Been there.
Just poke a hole in it and keep draining it yourself.

Dr wanted to remove bursae without trying to drain or meds.
    7 weeks in a sling.
Dr didn’t even check me out, and this info was forwarded to me.
Told him to go to hell.
Just put antibiotics cream on it and kept it wrapped.
    Went away on its own.

i have been so tempted to just poke it with a razor knife. Basically do the same thing the doctor did and save the $25 deductible. I think this started about 4 months ago when I was carrying the recycling out and banged into the side view mirror of my wife’s car hard enough that I thought I broke the mirror. Noticed a few weeks later I had a little lump under the skin but didn’t pay it any mind. But then out of nowhere 2 weeks ago it just ballooned up. Its kind of annoying because it makes my fingers feel swollen. They’re not but it’s impinging on the nerve in the elbow. Anyway, doc says this time they drain it they’ll follow it up with a steroid injection. If that doesn’t work then I’ll do the razor knife.

I have always had a thing for old trucks. I had a couple of 1960 F100’s in my stupider years. Started out with a rusted out shortbed that I fell in love with. Rebuilt the 223 straight 6 myself and ran it in that clapped-out body until I stumbled upon a rust free ‘60 F100 from SoCal with a blown engine. Along the way I got to be on a first name basis with the guys at three different salvage yards and the guy behind the parts counter at the local auto parts store. I added a 4” lift and big tires and man, I thought I was it. Stupider years, like I said. But I wish I could find a picture of it now.
