Eh. I have lossless. There is a small difference if you have sensitive equipment.

but mp3 is perfectly fine in a god damn truck

I went through an "I'm an audiophile phase" before I realized that it's the equivalent of a high IQ person telling you they're high-IQ; those who are don't need to tell you - their knowledge will speak for itself.

I always laugh when those who claim analog and/or LP is superior are audiophiles, and then laugh harder when those same people start whining about sampling rates and bit depth. Analog is inherently lossy and noisy ("warmth" is distortion). Bit depth on its own would have some merit; personally I can't hear much over 16kHz and I believe in the Nyquist theorem. In my experience oversampling actually creates more noise on most equipment.

I just don’t like the buzz the mp3 causes on my klipsch stuff at home

I always thought it was just noise from the power. But lossless it doesn’t buzz at all

The file was probably converted wrong or you have a DAC problem. 320kbps MP3 is nearly indiscernible from WAV or FLAC at the same sampling rate, and nothing about the file format should cause buzz.

I think iTunes defaults to like 192kbps IIRC from my Apple days.

If you open in a waveform viewer you can usually tell. Lower quality files will be a lot smoother.

Yeah. Was going to do it later, then the rack started leaking, so I figured now was as good a time as any.

I can post this to the main group, but I'll try the boys first. I need to reduce my turning radius because I keep rubbing the resi lines at full rotation. What's the best way to do this (or official way)?

Also I think I might have installed these on the wrong sides but I don't think that'll cure the rubbing completely.

My 99 looks the same right now. Waiting on new lower control arms from a dealer. Bent my aftermarket ones with too much heat/bottle jack.

Ah that sucks. I think my oem lowers are salvageable, but prolly gonna just replace the uppers, one of them is a bit rustier than I’d like.

Oh well, that’s how it goes with this stuff.

How long does it take to get stuff from the dealer there? Here I can usually get stuff next day.

Maybe weld on some small bump stops at the lower control arms? Second gens have them on the lower ball joints but I don't think messing with 1st gen ball joints is a good idea.

Ah I ordered from LaGrange Friday and they should be here Wednesday. Couldn't swing $700 for two arms locally.

Why is so hard to find solar powered outdoor flood lights that are not security/motion detector ones. Just want a simple solar powered flood light that I can turn on/off goddamnit lol.

Finally found one thats motion detection but also has a remote for on/off. Just need more overhead light in our backyard for the kiddo since it's getting dark early. Would rather not mess with a corded one. Certainly don't need motion detection, would be going off all night long with all the damn squirrels and possums we have
