The other day got up for work put it in reverse and a hum started. It's intermittent not always there only at low speed give it gas it stops. Happens in reverse and neutral. Attached a link to a video.

Yeah I'm going to schedule something for this week it's a 2020 so under warranty just happened after it started raining so I'm not sure if there was a quick fix to void long waits at the dealership.

It makes the noise in reverse but goes away when you rev the engine. Does it do the same in neutral or drive? It sounds like the engine or transmission is making contact with the frame somewhere.

It's stops if I give it gas. Does it in reverse and neutral moving backwards. Do not hear or feel it in drive anything move than ideal speed backwards it hums.

Hope that is all it is then. It doesn't sound like a transmission bearing.

Just dropped it off at the dealer. They got it up on the rack and looks like what happened is some road trash got kicked up and bent a piece of shielding for the gas tank and was rubbing on a drive shaft boot. The noise stopped yesterday and that's because the metal finally cut through the plastic boot. Now the dealer is checking to see if they can just order the boot or if a whole new drive shaft needs to be ordered.

Well the dealer got back to me they can order the boot for $200 and a another 400 to install. o_O:rofl::rofl:. Used some dap fuse uv glue and some 3m 33+ tape give it a week to get dirty and will never know it was damaged. All stuff I had free99. Not going to pay a lot to fix a dust cover.

Tell me about it when the rep called me and told me $580 I laughed at him. He said there's a lot of work, we need to remove the drive shaft. I told him no you need to remove it from the rear end and that takes few minutes, cut the old clamps and slide the yoke free. Place new boot and clamp down. 30 minutes of work. He told me well then guess you can take care of it. Told him thanks.
