Unfortunately at the expense of myself. Stopped at a red light, and the rest is history. Actually happened yesterday, but will be having an extra tall glass of whiskey tonight since I was on a shot of painkiller yesterday.

All that matters is you're alive and well. But man that's unfortunate. That thing had a long life ahead of it.

That is my worry, I pulled a book on it yesterday and its at $59k. I had a 2016 Sierra that had 4k miles on it and needed a frame replacement and they did it because the value was still so high, and that was almost $10k less. Having my fingers crossed that the parts shortage and everything else is a factor and they total it out.

Thanks everyone for the condolences, I was the only one in the truck, and I'm good just sore and a banged up knee, everyone in both other vehicles were ok as well so that's what is important!

If I do end up being able to pull any parts off of it, I will see if the Bakflip is still usable, and I had a tailgate cover as well that I will end up listing up.

Did you also rear end the vehicle in the front? Im so surprised the bed lifted and frame bent so severely. If you were just at a stop and had nothing in front to keep you from moving forward.

That thing is totalled and there's no way it didn't bend the frame.

Glad there were no serious injures. Seems to be an epidemic of Tacomas getting rear ended lately.

That’s sucks. Hope you are ok. The bad part yes it can be replaced but getting another LunaRock Pro is going to be very tough. I would be telling my insurance company how hard this will be to replace.

Brakes must have failed on the Honda, sure can’t think of any other reason.:annoyed:Make sure that you don’t have any long term medical issues before you settle with their insurance company.

i would think cement would be since they phased out that for cemint. i do gotta admit though i do like the way lunar rock looks as a pro. hope your situation gets sorted, the new lime color does look pretty prime too!
