Salisbury, where is Kenly, I'm guessing over by the coast maybe. must be a small town, I've never heard of it.

Took the de-scaler to the passenger side after removing all drive components. Shes looks bad.... but its just surface rust. A little paint and she will look great!

I haven't uploaded in a while, because I have been so dang busy. Hope you all have been well. I got the entire back half together and painted. No I am on to the bed repair which shouldn't take too long. I am hoping by the end of October it's done. Tons of hours on this girl.

I used krylon rust paint. It has zink in it to prevent rust and transform the little bit of surface rust that was left on it. And then POR15 for the axle. It was a major project, so good luck and post pics!

I'm thinking of going with "Rust Stop" as a base coat and then some good ole Rust-oleum black paint. Then use the Eastwood internal frame rust proofing. Yours is looking good so far. Nice to see your saving this truck from the scrap yard.

I think any of those rust paints will work just fine. Buy a lot of them. Also invest in a descailing needler gun. This will save you hours and clean the frame up great.
