    Yes, one of those two. The front one (right side) looks like it would work better but I would like to leave that coolant drain alone if I could. What are your thoughts? Could we make the back one with the fitting work?

    Possibly. Going to get hot feeding from there. What about where the oil pressure sensor is?

    If those two, the other location.

    That’s a good point. I have already started piecing the fittings together needed to make those ports work, so I will have to figure out the coolant drain. Hopefully that isn’t too difficult. I was going to use the oil pressure sensor location but I want to avoid teeing in if possible to keep things simple

    What's to figure out about the coolant drain? I have mine all in a loop with the throttle body. Simplicity is key!

    The block drain is getting in the way of where i'd like to tap into the oil filter housing for a feed. I just have to get the old one out and plug it without destroying something and then having a bigger issue. The one on my old motor didnt want to budge today when i tried to get it out, so it has me a little nervous

    Did you have any issues getting the drain fitting out? the one on my spare motor didnt act like it wanted to cooperate today when i put a wrench on it. Maybe i need to try a socket instead

    I didn't have any issues, but I also boiled the block in a drum of lye haha

    Alright so I got two wrenches on it and managed to break it free. It looks like it’s 1/4” BSP but I will have to try to confirm that tomorrow at the hardware store so I can track down a plug

    Got a lot of stuff lol
    All I can say is fuck that downpipe lol. I had to enlarge my holes for it to fit and had so many issues with exhaust leaking.


    I would check into tapping into the oil pressure sender. I had a T that gave me an oil feed for my turbo and a reference for my oil pressure gauge. No drilling or taping required for that part.

    I did look into this and ordered a tee fitting but then started getting second thoughts about using it. I changed my mind and decided i am going to use one of the ports on the oil filter housing and just do a m22 to -4an adapter for the feed. similar to what 05taco4x4 did on his

    Well shoot, I threaded it into the thing on the wall there and i thought i was good to go, but after looking up the OD and putting the calipers on it, you’re definitely right. I will have to go back tomorrow and swap it out

    A little excitement on the VFtuner, Gen3 PowerMax TT kit. Matt just announced that the tune for the PowerMax with fuel pump and injector upgrade is dialed in, and set for 14-15psi boost! The standard kit is 7psi, and I was hoping for 12, so this is GREAT news to me!!

    He also mentioned he has fabrication issues with unknown date of solution, so following the shipping of the last few kits (appears 8 are still waiting in queue), there will be a few kits made available (from people that canceled for refund). No mention of how this will be released.

    I cannot wait!! will be making my own turbo noises on my drive tomorrow.

    I'm assuming that the dialed-in base tune he mentioned is/was mine, but idk. I do know there weren't many base kits, many people went with the powermax turbos
