If I remember right on my 3rz I had to remove the drain, install the oil feed and then reinstall the drain.

Well, update on the race truck. Running on an actual track today was great fun, but no baffling in the oil pan+high speed sweeping turns on three wheels= engine gently knocking on heavens door. Stick a fork in it Timmy, it's done!AB6B79AE-EF42-497F-AB3C-F666F6C37D7C.jpg

Now that the engine is burnt toast, what're the plans?

Keep driving it for the next week or two until I can buy a second vehicle (truck) and then park it and tear it apart. I've decided to go with the TD05 for now. I'll try and get you the dimensions on the exhaust flange for one of your sweet headers and fully commit to it over the winter.

Thanks for the info! I decided to buy a stainless 1/4" BSP plug and im going to use that and just remove the coolant drain if i can get it out. Definitely wasnt easy to track down though, everything i could find was 1/4" NPT. Had to special order online

So Matt released his list: Total of 8 PowerMax kits yet to ship out. Unfortunately I am at the bottom of the list :(. But seems I might be WAY better off than KnckleChldrn; Matt's records indicate that his kit # was cancelled way back in 2020, and that kit is not shipping. Waiting for KC to respond, and see what his story is. There is one kit # unidentified to a User Name as of yet, so it still could work out OK.
    :fingerscrossed: for KC.

Yes. Being a one-man-band is not an effective long term solution for a growing company.

Has anybody in here ever tried/succeeded in dropping the oil pan on a 2tr while the engine was in the truck? Trying to figure out if it's possible.

Yes i have dropped the upper and lowers but i have a prerunner. Not sure if theres less room to work on a 5 lug, but i would guess so

I'll just go fuck myself then lmao.

I'd imagine it'd be even easier since you have no front diff or axles in the way?

It looks like the crossmember is fairly close, so I'll post a pic like @BassAckwards suggested.

I'm a 5 lug and dropped the lower pan before. It was a pain in the ass and I wore lots of oil lol.
