Also, to all the LR manual trans owners: Installed the Core shifter last week and WOW! What a difference!

Core + ADM = extremely pleasurable driving experience :burnrubber:

The only downside is the additional trans noise in the cabin, but I believe there is a work around that I’m currently pursuing.

Saw a LR in downtown pleasanton parked on main st today, had the graphics package and a roof rack. Anyway, for those who got new tires did most people go with the OEM size? I think most of the guys who went with Maxxis tires did the OEM size, there's a sale at costco supposedly on K02's but they are pretty heavy. This has started me looking.

Correct on the Maxxis RAZR AT-118. We’ve gone with 265/70R16 (OEM size) to have a SL rating which only weighs 38lbs a tire. Currently Maxxis doesn’t really offer much of a size variety in SL rating (probably a reason for this that I don’t exactly know). This won’t size up your tire but will give you superior traction in all conditions compared to the stock Goodyear tires. @R4D4G4ST has a good YouTube video on this. I’ll edit in the link when I find it.

    edit: https://youtu.be/BN9ZINux0uY

On a personal note when I do size up to 33’s in the future there will be a small lift accompanying it, and I’m afraid that I will also want to regear at the same time to minimize the impact of the increased rotational mass of the tires.

Thank you, I think it looks good in that video. I also don't want to really modify the truck, I have a few modified cars and it's tiresome lol.

Just put a deposit on a 2022 off road premium in LR. If anyone gets a non pro it would be cool to see a picture.

I’m waiting on a lunar rock sport premium that’s supposed to be landing end of November. I’m really hoping I like it without the black wheel arches and front lower valence as all I’ve ever seen are Pro’s up to this point! The colour is amazing though!

I see you’re going to a short box, this is my first truck and wasn’t sure if I’d regret the short box, so went with sport. If we had long box off roads up here I would have gone with that!

I definitely would have went long box off road if I could have. I went off road because mine will be used for my job in the forestry industry. I figured the 16” wheels and more off road shocks would benefit me. I never used the locker or mts/crawl control on my 2016 4runner so that didn’t matter much to me.

The black flares/bumper valance does contrast nicely, both will look nice I’m sure though.

which province are you in? here in the maritimes there wasn’t a single lunar rock in production that my salesman could request.

nice. Short box as well. I’d like to get a manual but apparently us Canadians with double cabs are out of luck.

I agree. I would of rather had a long box but rowing gears was more important to me than long box.

Better than cement grey? I honestly like both of the colors.

Cement used to be my favorite Tacoma color, but after owning lunar rock, cement just seems so boring. Lunar looks different in every lighting, which just makes it so much more interesting of a color. That's my biased opinion though.

I have not seen lunar in person, but over the internet it even looks so good. I can't imagine how cool it looks in person.
