Solar flood light? Id be curious how much light it actually puts out. My parents have the little solar fence posts lights. They just put out a little glow and only last a couple hours.

Buy the milwaukee flood light :notsure:

I would if we had convenient outlets outside. Just one on the porch in this old house. With a nearly 2 yr old the less cords around the better. The chargeable lights though could be an option yeah

These solar ones have two heads, 500 lumens each which isn't crazy bright but should be enough for when it's dusk at 5pm. Once it's pitch dark it's time for her to come in anyway

For extra irony: That new vinyl your favorite band just released was probably recorded and mastered digitally.

Probably because the whole point of solar powered is so you don't have to wire anything, and anything that's on non-stop is going to have about 4 hours of 10 lumen output

I hate that 90% of what's on the shelf for outdoor/sidewalk/landscape lighting is all solar + 18650. I want 12V goddammit. And not a fkn non-serviceable bulb.

UCA bushings were 10x harder for me to get done that LCA bushings. Given how much I spent on the bushings (I sprung for Toyota) plus the effort involved... loaded arms sound pretty appealing in hindsight

The stock LCAs do have a stop, but curiously they dont hit on either of my toyotas. I think there's a limiter in the steering rack.

Hmm...2 Google apps set up a recurring $10 charge each on my card for apps I never purchased. Sneaky fuckers. Looks like I need to get a new debit card.

I need to use my debit card way less than I do and start using credit more. Feels like it's just a matter of time these days before someone hacks your debit info and you gotta go through the headache of dealing with the bank. I've had to do it at least 5 times in the last few years.

Only thing I use the debit card is the atm. Everything else credit. There’s been a few times its saved me too, and they’re frighteningly on top of it.

Saved me a rental car windshield repair bill once too.

My credit union gives you invisible points for using your debit card as credit. Better interest rates on loans supposedly. But idk why a debit card would be more complicated than a credit card as far as getting your digits stolen.

I only use credit on gas, groceries, and Lowes/HD purchases. Costco points, 2% back, and 5% off, respectively. Finally broke 800 the other month, but it's likely because I had a bad habit of paying off the statement before it was issued so my credit utilization looked very low to the bureau.

Credit cards are backed by better fraud protection and liability rules than debit cards are.

The line of credit also gives a buffer against your finances. A fraudster with a credit card might be able to run transactions up to your credit limit, but your bank account will be untouched. With a debit card, a fraudster could drain everything in the account, leaving you with no cash on hand. Keeping a separate debit account with a "just enough" balance gives some protection against that, but the legalities around fraud will still be different.

    https://www.experian.com/blogs/ask-experian/are-credit-cards-safer-than-debit-cards/

From the other side... retailers would rather have you run debit because their transaction cost is lower. Your credit union probably likes you running the debit card as credit because they get to pocket some of that transaction cost. That's the same reason credit cards give cash-back bonuses.
