I would never (intentionally) give you bad information! :duel: Unless I knew I could fuck up your day.

But Randy @EatSleepTacos also isn't wrong. Even with the spot optics that BD offers it is still a reflector-based design. You are still getting a little bit of light spill in every direction. Setting the bar a little further back is the best way to keep light from getting down on your hood...

Well, I disagree based on my first hand experience. Putting wide cornering on the outer two bars up high was beneficial and didn’t cause any additional hood glare.

Six squadron sports in the bumper, some some wide cornering and some spot.

In this pic I can’t remember if the bumper lights are still on, but you can see how having a little wide cornering up high is still beneficial. Using those signs to the right as reference.

I'd have to agree here. I can't think of many light bars that are all spot and everyone runs those things up high, myself included. I don't get any discernible hood glare off the light bar and the outers are disbursed.

Bumper mounted, no other lights on but factory headlights that are unbelievably shitty. I might swap the center two or all 4 lenses to spot.

Yeah. She dirty. And those OEM headlights look really nice on those Dodges but they suck bad. Can confirm.

I drive deer and elk infested back highways for hundreds of miles almost daily usually both ways in the dark, with no service for many miles. That thing has saved me from being stranded more times then I can count.

It’s unbelievable how bad modern headlights on an expensive vehicle can suck. While the dodge projectors suck terribly I think the projectors on my wife’s suburban are worse, another expensive vehicle.

I don’t see any reason you couldn’t fit 4 LP9s up there. The amber backlit feature on the 6s or 9 pros would look tits up there too.

Installed Squadron SAE in fog and have a strange issue - They only work when headlights are completely off or in DRL, and turn off and buzz when I turn my headlights on. I'm guessing I wired something wrong? As I type this I remember I had a jumper for the fog light anytime mod when running stocks, truck is at home so I cannot test if removing this fixes it.

Hi, I am interested to install 2 LP6 pro on my oem standard front bumper, questions
    1. Does anyone know any bracket or platform available to install round lights for standard front bumper?
    2. Is it legal to install round lights in front of the grill since it may obstruct pedestrian crash crumple zones? Unlike light bars that can be hidden behind the grill?

I see most tacomas install the round light on aftermarket bumpers not on oem bumper. TIA

I have no idea about question #1. Question #2 would have nothing to do with “pedestrian crash crumple zones” since a pedestrian would be dead long before they crumple the front of a Tacoma. You’ve got to check your local laws on aftermarket lighting but I know of a LOT of people that have Baja Designs lights on their truck in California.
