    Not an expert here, but I know some things. Isn't this called a "Toyota Pickup"? That's what they called the truck before the term "Tacoma" was termed, in 1995.5? My first truck was a 1989 "Toyota pickup" and looked just like this one, other than the aftermarket seats in this one.
    Also, if this was a true Hilux, wouldn't it be RHD?
    Nice truck.

    All good points. I honestly do not know why the seller has chosen to identify it as a Hilux…

    makes it sound more elusive to gullible buyers than toyota pickup.

    cool truck but a leaf sprung SAS is not $20k cool.

    Pretty sure because it was called the hilux prior to switching to IFS in 1985. toyota gave up the hilux name in north america in 1979 to advertise it as a pickup truck. But some still had the hilux emblem simce it was called a hilux everywhere else. This one is a sas, and definitely not a hilux.
