I don’t think there will be a new rule. I think the correct call was made.
But it did take all the momentum away from the Rays.

 

And just like that... our season is on the brink.

 

Why wouldn’t they do it “on purpose” then? Could be easy to fake.

I wasn't thinking about players doing it on purpose.

 

That’s a stiffer penalty if intentional.
I don’t like the first rule either when it’s unintentional, that also should be 2 bases from the position of the runners.

the first baseman threw the ball home and hit (with the Ball) the runner, running to first, the runner scored from 3rd.
Another momentum changer this one for the white sox.

 

That ump calls a bunch of crap.

 

Is it just the Braves-Brewers games or are all the umpires calling strikes on pitches 6 inches off the plate? A bit ridiculous some of these calls.

Angel Hernandez was all over the place on the calls last night. IIRC, Ruf got caught looking on his first AB last night... at a ball about 6-8 inches outside.

 

Hernandez been making bad calls for far too many years.

 

TBS removed the box for Joe West in the WC game.

 

Joe West couldn’t find a box under a Christmas Tree.
