FJ t-case swap 3rd Gen

I've been following the 2nd gen FJ case swap thread ( https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/lets-see-your-fj-case-swap.455278/ ) for quite some time and I wanted to make a thread specifically for the 3rd gen Tacoma. I know the concept is pretty similar but I wanted it more consolidated and specific due to the difference in electronics, wiring, shifter placement, center console etc. Hopefully, anyone that has done it or plan to do it on a 3rd gen can share their knowledge, experience and most importantly photos

I went ahead and took my first step and purchased an FJ t-case, picked up a twin stick from Front Range Off-road and did the twin stick mod with the help of the internet and this YouTube video

What was wrong with the other thread of consolidated information?

 

Nothing wrong. It's just more geared towards 2nd gen. Some of the things there don't pertain to us like wiring , shifter placement etc
