I thought that too but my other Tacoma has a LineX bedliner and its peeling up in places which holds moisture. I'm thinking just a thick rubber bed mat now that I have a cap.

Its all about the prep work. Most places dont sand down far enough before they install that stuff, they just use self etching primer and hope it holds up.

i’ve never done one, but i’d sand by hand and then roll it on if i were doing one.

i’m not crazy about the composite beds in the newer trucks but at least I dont have to worry about rust i guess

How is it a dealer can expect anyone to pay 15K over sticker when they were making money at MSRP? And aTundra Pro was 20 over.

This afternoon coming back from taking one of my daughters to Pittsburgh I took a rock in the windshield at 80 on I70 between Hancock and the exit for Indian Springs.. so you know how this story ends .

So what's the going rate for a windshield replacement for a 3rd Gen w/ camera?

Use your comprehensive insurance. It will cost you whatever your deductible is.

    This.

Often, depending on the circumstances, they may not even charge your deductible for windshield damage.
