    Do these guys mean well? I like "6gear", the one with the picture of the guy smoking a pipe as his avatar; I think other people are trying to invent trouble...

    Look at post #17; Some guy is saying I'm due for a brake job soon... o_O

    The brake fluid was flushed and replaced when the front brakes were replaced, and that was less than six months ago!

    Does something seem to be wrong with the brake fluid in terms of color or level?

    Also, the concept of having a vehicle with this many miles is new to my family; The 1996 Pathfinder was the first vehicle we kept past 100K miles, and it was like 113K. The 2004 Odyssey had over 130K, but it's almost paranormal how many miles Hondas can run without needing a major overhaul; My dad traded his 2013 Honda Pilot with less than a thousand miles to go until 100K...

    So, you don't think there's something wrong with my brakes?

    I'll take that as a no...

    Anyway, random question; You think your Baywatchmobile would pass smog in California?

    My best friend has a 1985 Ford F-250 with a 1968 block in it and we were jut talking about California's stupid smog testing...

    i have no idea. Hard to tell from just a fluid level, as long as it’s between the min and max and the pads/shoes are good then no.

    Also, I don't feel comfortable taking the the intake off because I've never done it before; My mechanic showed me how when he changed the spark plugs back in 2019 but that was literally over two years ago and I've forgotten how. My mechanic will likely help me check the spark plugs for free, but I don't want to create a problem that I have to potentially pay hundreds of dollars to fix...

    Wow...... what a leap.

    Brakes not needing work TO taking off the intake TO checking spark plugs.............

    What was the original question????
    Are my shoes too tight?
    I guess it might be because my T-shirt is too baggy, but I have a friend who rides a Harley Trike..........

    :annoyed::facepalm:

    Some dingus is trying to rile me up by saying there's an issue with the brakes based on a picture taken of the engine bay, and someone else suggested I check the spark plugs to see if there's any oil on them...

    Don't forget to grease the muffler bearing. Must use a high quality API grease.....at least a NGLI 3.

    I'm gonna hug my mini-schnauzer....get some IQ points back.
