There's too much shit in my shop to make a wheeled chair worth it.

 

Afternoon PA

Made an early morning run (to me, like 10am, lol) to grab some ethanol free gas for the mowers and stop by the Harbor Freight. Decided to try out their shop lights. My old strip lights, even with LED tubes "failed" since the ballast were going out. A set of 4 was less than $80. Color me impressed. Did have to cut off the plug and direct wire them. This is a low budget deal and I didn't want to switch electrical boxes and add outlets.



Need to pick up some box covers for the ceiling boxes. When I move the porcelain fixtures go back in. Still gonna use the old 4' strips, just need to find somewhere local for the direct wire LED tube versions.

Those lights look good. I'm getting those 4 foot led line voltage tubes for less than $4. Let me know if I can help.

 

There's an actual (as in not Lowe's or Home Depot) electrical supply house right near where I work, I can only assume they stock them. If not I know a couple localish suppliers that we deal with at work. Might have to try the ol' "hey I work for so and so"

Adam if you were @ Harbor Freight between 10 and 1115, we were not far apart. St John's United Church of Christ is a hop skip and jump from HF and Walmart.

 

Heh, yea I was in that area around 10:45ish. I was really surprised at the amount of vehicles at Fitzgerald both new/used especially since people have been saying of the lack of vehicles at new car dealerships. I'll say the Nissan selection was lacking...

I could never figure out why America celebrated the discovery of an Island in the Caribbean.

That was right there with lets have a big feast just as Winter sets in so all the extra food does not have to be kept over the winter

hey I only get 12 holidays a year, don’t go giving my company any ideas.

 

I have the day off, and a shit ton of work to do on the truck. The insurance company has to assign a local adjuster, it could be staff or independent. They don't know, so he couldnt provide any contact info and said they would reach out but he couldn't guarantee it would be today. Nice try buddy. Since you can't provide their contact information for me to follow up with them about what is needed, then you can contact me once it is assigned later.
