Looks like you bought tires for it, and possibly wheel spacers. That would require a cab mount chop. Probably installed raptor lights, Wescot Pro lift, a trifold bed cover and got a tune also. That's money you can't get back.

No spacers, ugly raptor lights, lift or tune. Just tires and bed cover. Oh and the Taco Tunes five channel amp with Kicker speakers which was junk. My Alpine amps and Infinity speakers in my Jeep blows that shit away. Toyota miss the mark with the 3rd gen Tacoma and I see that now. My 08 JKU is far better.

Not really into the trucks like I thought but, the 05-15 Tacoma is the best for midsize. Jeeps I've owned a YJ,TJ and LJ. The JK is far more capable as well as the newer JL than any other Jeep out there just fact. Not really sure why anyone would not want the benefits of the 4dr. The 4.0L engine was very dated and not suited for the everyday driver.

Oh ok. lol. Jeep wrote the book on 4WD. Solid axle all day everyday over IFS. Do give up a little ride comfort but, it's easier to work on and cheaper to beef up.

The 07-11 Jk has one of the worst motors ever put into a vehicle. Idk why anyone would want one of those turds. I had a 13 with the “good” 3.6 motor which used a quart of oil every 1000 miles and was told that’s “standard” from FCA…yeah right….and while yes, it was really easy and cheap to build, I had tons of electrical issues and weird glitches that I have never had with a Toyota. Not even close in build quality or reliability.

Jeep vs Toyota reliability is an absolute joke. Which is surprising, because Jeeps seem to hold similar resale value.

I'm trying to replace my 2018 Pro I sold the other day. I can't believe the dealers want 15k+ over MSRP for a new Pro. :boink:

Despite the crappy build quality, wranglers have a cult following similar to tacos. It truly is a “Jeep thing”. It is cool driving around with no doors or top which most don’t but it’s the ability to that is the draw.

All dealers around here (CA bay area) want min $10k over msrp for new trucks. Idk about cars but all new trucks i have seen around here are over msrp. They have to make up for the profit lost from low volume selling somehow...

Reading $10-$15K over sticker for a new Pro? So that's upwards of $60K or more? Who is paying that?
Maybe I need to sell my '20............but I'll never get back the money into the OEM Audio stereo, KDMAX, etc, etc............plus what else would I buy??????

Really? Worst motor? You do realize the 3.3 and 3.8 had been Chrysler's flagship V6 from 1990 until 2011. Think of how many minivans alone out there with 200k or more. You know most haven't lived a easy life. The problem with the 3.8 in the wranglers were 07s and some 08s had been built in Mexico to keep up with the demand of the JK when it first launched. Some had the rings installed incorrectly causing consumption issues while others had poor machine work which led to some having spun rod bearings. It's not the most advanced motor in the world but, it's the best simple V6 out there I'm aware of. With the correct gears in the axle it will keep up with the 3.6L no problem. I have 4.88s and 33s and will hang right next to a newer JK no problem. I don't have any head problems doing it either.

The 0-60 went from 10 seconds to 7.5 when FCA changed the 3.8 to the 3.6. Both are not unreliable, as you've stated. the first model issues needed to be worked out similar to what happens on toyotas. (The head issues sucked on the 3.6, as did the "sand from casting in the coolant system").

What will you do with the dough? Chuck Norris says, in what can’t possibly be a self-serving manner, to buy gold and silver.
