Man that's worse than what I paid today (4.55 for 91). Though the more expensive stations out here are already well above $5 in some areas

 

Same here Chevron was like $5.50, I had a dollar off at Safeway gas end up $3.73. was still $93 for 25 gallons.

 

Every time I've had an issue with my debit, I just fill out a form and wait a week for acceptance and refund. It's attached to my checking, PIN is required for savings. My debit card has been skimmed before and I don't see how a credit card would be handled any differently. If I was in a critical position where my checking account was drained, I could just switch to a different card while it gets resolved.

But yes I know how it all the fees work, etc. I do it the way I do because it's easiest to manage what money I actually have for the month and it keeps me in a good credit utilization. I've never overdrafted or been in a position where I have to pay interest.

 

Holy hell I feel a lot better about my $3.10 now. Godspeed to you west coast folks every time you have to get gas. That's ridiculous

Being in a tourist town does not help. I fill up ones every 2 weeks and like to fill up my 5 gallon gas can to dump into the 4runner. The Safeway gas rewords defiantly help.

 

Not all of us are sinking under gas prices. Still only $3.31 here and currently dropping.

3.89 all day every day here in Sanger which is nice. It's been that way since I moved here.

The second you hit Fresno or Clovis though, it jumps up to 4.39 to 4.79 per.

Toyota steering stops even on the solid axles are jokes because they make them strike hollow structures, so the stops just bend whatever they run into...

 

Yea the old ones are meh. Not an issue anymore on newer stuff.

$3.05 and dropping here. Was pissed to pay $50 to fill up yesterday, but I understand thats cheap for you westerners.

I hit $70 for the first time ever while filling up my truck a couple weeks ago. Feels bad man.
