Just looking at that picture hurt's my eyes. Sorry for your loss, your upcoming aggravation, and the delays with replacement.

The only thing that failed on the Honda is the drivers attention. :der:

Yup, seems like it’s getting a lot worse. In Oregon they are running commercials every five minutes about distracted driving but I think that they are having the opposite effect on way too many of the drivers around Portland. I see a lot of people looking down instead of at the road while driving where it used to be just at stop lights. :smack:

Wow! painful to see that. Good that you and everyone is Okay. Hopefully the insurance companies can sort this out even with the market we have now..

Really one of the things I worry about happening but nothing you can do about but not drive. These trucks aren't going to be easy to replace in any trim now. Hope it all works out for you.

Definitely an unfortunate event for you and glad everyone is ok.

Sorry, may have missed if this has been asked but have you thought about what you might get if they do total it?

I tell my wife everytime we have some a$$hat behind us too close. She will have to bail me out of jail because it's not going to end pretty for the other driver. You stop for a Stop sign and they want to run over you, 75 in a 40 weaving in and out inches off your bumper, texting, red light runners by way more than the delay, etc.... Most people can't drive. A side hit at 30mph plus can be deadly. Aren't we getting tired of high insurance claims? ...every other commercial visiting Florida is a Personal Injury lawyer for suing bad drivers... its NUTS!!!

OK, enough with my ranting. Glad your OK and sorry about your nice truck. Accidents are accidents. That doesn't look like one.

Thats a valid rant. I been hit by drivers not paying attention and playing on the phone before.. I still see it everywhere. just the other week I was behind a lady in traffic that locked em up nearly rear ending someone I could see her holding the phone up above the dash trying to read and type as she drove. I know my dash cam probably picked it up too. did she put the phone down after the near hit???? Nope.. no lesson learned! that's how we have more accidents and why we need more nanny systems, people don't pay attention as they should.

Painful to look at, hope you are 100% okay. One can only hope the 'frame' failed/bent like that by design and can be replaced/repaired or by design to minimize damage/injuries to to occupant of the vehicle that rear ended you. I don't think I'd be able to keep it together if that happened to me and my truck looked like yours.
