How long did you have to wait for your 2021 factory order?

Build date got pushed back 2 weeks to 9/24. Sales dude now saying it’ll be here first week of November. I had placed my deposit on the last week of July. Reeeeeally hoping I don’t have to wait another month, but I know it’ll be worth it…just super anxious already!! Congrats to everyone getting their trucks!

 

Is there any other way to track transit other than starting the Connected Services trial?

 

So in the Toyota app for my truck it shows the last parked location and that it was last updated when I shut the truck off at work. So it’s not like it’s real time location and updated frequently.

 

I’m more looking for info on transit from the factory to the dealer, but thank you for the info

 

When you talked about a starting the connected services trial, I assumed you were going to try tracking it that way. Several I’ve seen have tried that. That’s why I mentioned that. Sorry if I misunderstood

Been waiting since mid July, but finally picked this up on Monday.

 

Ordered my truck on 9/7. Ordered the 2021 but have a pretty strong feeling I will get 2022. Still no allocation… I hope I get mine before the new year.

 

Ordered April 24th. Picked it up October 8th. 2021 DCSB TRD sport 4x4 6MT. Took forever but well worth the wait, I could't be happier!

 

Here's my experience. Wanted a TRD offroad in army green or cement. Called around until I found a dealer who could get what I wanted or close at least and was not marking up over msrp. 7/29/2021 deposit put on allocated truck with estimated build date 9/06/2021. Truck built on 9/28/2021. Truck delivered to dealer 10/05/2021. Dealer said shipping times had been fast lately due to less inventory available.

 

Wow, that was a super fast delivery! I'm waiting on a AG 2021 TRD OR that was also built on 9/28. Scheduled delivery date is 10/18 but I've been told it could be "any day now." This gives me hope that it might actually be early.... or you got my truck.

 

I'm guessing we're all waiting for the last batch of trucks that were built together. Same colors, same off-road package, similar arrival dates

 

Just got a phone call from my dealer saying my truck was in can pick it up around 2 o’clock today I have not been this excited since I was 15 years old and my girlfriend told me I was getting lucky tonight

 

Congrats to you. My update today was that Toyota is officially listing the truck as in transit... But no location/ETA, so they are sticking to an end of the month ETA so I don't get my hopes up.

Mine was built 9/24 and my delivery date isn’t until November…wth.

 

Glad you posted this. My temp VIN vanished on 9/23 and my dealer told me on the 1st that my SBDC OR 6MT was built and delivery was scheduled for 11/3.

With everyone getting their orders so quickly I have been getting a bit worried something was amiss, especially since I haven't received the permanent VIN yet.

Your post gives me hope, but these turn-around time discrepancies have me confused. I am thinking that maybe the delays are location based due to them shipping them in lots, so a shipment could be held up by a specific order? (this is pure speculation on my part) I am in WA, btw.

 

I’m on the other side, PA. Moving to WA in April though!
I’m being impatient, I know, but I’m so tired of the little Honda, I miss having a truck so bad, and there is another Mag Grey manual sitting in a dealership down the streets…but that AG is calling me.

 

What database are you guys checking your VIN number against? Second question, is there a "week to be built" in my VIN number?
