What’s this worth/any interest?

diamondback db15, firefield 2.5-10x40r, stream light pro tac, some kind of laser that I really don’t know anything about. Spare mag. I have some m855 green tip 5.56 to go with it, probs 200 rounds if I had to guess. One box plus a partial.

I bought it used - already built. just added the light.

I have! Once haha. It was like cheating at 50 yards. I’m just trying to unload some stuff I really don’t use (kayaks, bicycles, guns, etc). I have a hard time getting out to open spaces to shoot its a bit overkill for home defense. Esp how close I am to other houses. But I have no issue hanging onto it, was a blast when I went out once

 

What other gun stuff you got?

 

Rifles are fun to shoot. Nice weather to kayak and ride bikes. pretty sure you will have no problems unloading some of your items.

If you have any flat pedals I am in market for some.

 

I try not to be that guy, but 5.56 is far less likely to over penetrate walls compared to 00 buck etc. My AR is my go to self defense weapon of choice if I can get to it fast enough.

 

Yeah terminal ballistics is a oft-misunderstood topic and lots of people are more than happy to spread "facts" that are basically wrong in every possible sense.

I forget what channel it was on the toob, but there was a guy testing penetration of 9mm vs 5.56 with random household goods. It was fascinating, a family sized TP pack would eat a 9mm round but 5.56 would zip right through. Change the target to a stack of 3 1 gallon waters, and the exact opposite happened. The 9 would get through all the jugs, where the 5.56 would hit the first jug and basically detonate it and shower everything with water, but the 2nd jug was just nicked and the 3rd was unharmed.

Was at the Walmart on Northsight in Scottsdale. They had 6 300-round boxes of 22lr if anyone is looking for it. About $40 per box.

Yeah.... I refused to pay pandemic prices on Wolf 7.62x39 and now I'm even more fucked.

 

I gave up shooting for pleasure years ago when prices started to get weird. I occasionally go out with friends or family and run a few rounds and every time the muscle memory and good enough accuracy is still there. Mag dumps make me cringe, not smile. All I hear is cha-ching! Lol.
