    I'm the same way with my vehicles especially since I drove many junkers before I could afford something good much less that which I really want.

    I think I should bet on if it's bad..lol By the looks of the engine not much attention was paid to keeping the engine clean. I highly doubt it was ever replaced.

    electrons were flowing through the circuit that illuminates the MIL, hence the light was on. The real question is, do the electrons flow from positive to negative or the other way around?

    That's what I see. I can't remember brake fluid stratifying liked that if the master cylinder is indeed filled above that dark line, which, as I see it, is the brake fluid level.
