I'm sure if it worked they would have listed it as an option.

I'm also wondering this. Trying to reach URD to get some info -- you'd think they'd have a test vehicle that mated them up.

I was up in his area a couple weeks ago and had a chance to stop by his shop. He answered some questions about the fitment of my URD y-pipe which fixed that issue. I asked some other questions which included the O2 sensors on the power extractors. I let him know that there are a number of people who would buy this pipe, including me, if he had the O2 sensors available. I can not remember the exact answer but it had to do with the computer programming on the gen 3 is far more advanced than the gen 2 but he is working on it. He does have a test vehicle for almost all of the products that he sells and he does extensive testing before releasing any products. His gen 3 Tacoma he owns is a 3.5 and he is currently looking for someone with a gen 3 with the 2.7 to test his super charger for. Hope this helps.

I have the urd crossover ypipe markII . WOW what a difference in sound . I love it . I have the mrbp xp performance cat back exhaust . When I cruise not really loud at all. When you get on it 3/4 to full throttle , yeah ear piercing. I've always had loud exhaust on my vehicles. I am tuned with valley runner by termlimits.

did you have them? Do you know of any successful workarounds for the CEL caused by removing front cats?

vF Tuner software has a switch for that, at least on certain ECU's. i have no codes with the switches on, ECU 04B14 for the MTs.. that's with OV high flow dump tubes and a modified URD mk2 Y. the dump tubes are nearly the same as the extractor pipes.

sweet thanks I’ll check it out. I like the mark 2 y-pipe, but also liked the idea of the balanced u-pipe. Thinking about making a mark 2 setup balanced/tuned before adding the resonator and muffler.

the mk2 is not balanced by its design, it's un-tuned by being unequal length. but the one guy who's made balanced ones around here is currently in a holding pattern. but i honestly quite like the unequal length and its sound. the part that needed balancing for me was the slop and tq loss from excessive pipe diameter, and of course the drone. my experience now after 4 years of work to dial it in is that all the effort was totally worth it.

When ordering the extractor pipes, website gives you the option to add an RB for $200 more. Any of y’all know what that is? I emailed them and asked and all they said was “It helps prevent the disabling of the vehicle safety systems when the high performance off road racing exhaust parts are installed.” Wonder if it’s just a gimmick just to squeeze a couple hundred more outta you. Something like this additional part should have a picture with and without the option so customers know what they’re actually paying for.

I see a lot of these post about this topic are old. I'd like to get it going again to see if anyone has new information or experience. I was just looking at the URD website and was wondering the exact same thing about the RB-U and what the heck it is.
