Squishy sound when braking

    The noise is normal. Has to do with the brake booster system on TRD off road and TRD pro.

    Don’t press the brake pedal too hard. The new Toyotas, particularly Tacomas, don’t require you to smash the brake pedal. Pressing firmly is enough to stop.

    Thanks for all the replies!

    @Tacomike18 - no matter how softly you press the pedal, you will hear the squishy noice before the brakes start to engage.
