As you can see in my last post, they fixed the problem of fires. When the wind blows hard enough to knock over lines, they turn the power off to people in those areas. No more power = no more fires. Its brilliant!!

Don't worry, I'll just fire up my jenny... Oh wait...

How can they outlaw something without a suitable replacement? With the amount of power outages we probably both see, it just doesn't make sense. I truly dgaf about the yard tools cause there is already replacements for those. I'd be all for solar and power banks in all homes, but most homeowners can't afford that considering the home prices and state taxes.

And solar is sooooo friendly to the environment. I mean, it produces zero waste and emissions from base material production all the way to disposal. The loss of habitat, the excessive mining, the leaching of heavy metals, that's all just myth. No country says that stuff is hazardous waste.

Hydro or thermal storage facilities :notsure: I don't know of many of those around here. We do have billion dollar dollar plans for a high speed train though.

I think they should solve the problem by making wildfires illegal, with all their toxic emissions and such.

I'm surprised they haven't thought of that yet.

Billions have already been "spent", nothings actually been built though....

We almost had one down here today. Plane crashed into a UPS truck a few block from my work and lit a couple houses on fire.
    https://www.10news.com/news/local-news/east-county-news/video-shows-moment-of-santee-plane-crash

You can't say that and know for sure that it's not actually already a thing.

Arson is already illegal. It is harder to make stupid (cough, gender reveal) against the law. For everything else, bring it up with god.

Should be good for the environment when all cars are electric or hybrid too. This is around the plant where the Prius batteries are made in Canada. NASA practiced driving their moon buggies here.

Are you saying that Prius battery manufacturing created a moon scape for the 1960's NASA moon buggies? Because last time I checked time travel isn't a thing. And just who is saying EVs cause no environmental damage? I see "EV's are terrible for the environment" all the time, but the only people that seem to be saying it are those that hate EVs. Over on the EV forums the talk is about how much less damage they cause, not that there is no damage.

I suppose after 1960 NASA dropped all plans on ever returning to the moon or any other planet, and never needed to test anything ever again... Sure

    Ever heard of Project Artemis?

Hell, NASA tapped Toyota for help in designing the next gen Moon buggy

Plus there's talk of some red planet called "Mars" and something about private spaceflight.... Dunno anything about that ....
