Freakin' Third Genners, man (no offense to my buddy, @shakerhood); Just made a reference to a $142K 2020 Tacoma camper posted in the 3rd Gen section having a "6-speed/3-pedal anti-theft device" and some troll called me a "peepaw" and said I needed to get back to bed...

 

The 3rd Gen section is an entirely different world.

 

You got that right; You're different than them because you owned a 1st Gen and two 2nd Gens before your current rig, or at least that would be my guess...

Believe it or not there are really good people and tons of information in there, but you have to learn navigate through the Shit Show.

 

The really good people seem to be the ones who have owned other generations of Taco prior to a 3rd Gen; Did you see the thread I tagged you in?

 

You are probably right as there are many that have worked there way up through the ranks of Tacoma's and Toyota Trucks. Yeah I briefly glanced through a little of that Thread.

Indeed, just a little on the pricey side!

 

I remember back when these were brand new.

 

It's funny because that's the second person to call me a "PeePaw" over the "Millennial Anti-Theft Device" crack; The only time I'm ever in the 3rd Gen section is when I'm adding to my Tacoma Stalking thread over there, and there's a good reason for that!

 

I've got a few of those in the Hilux version of Toyota Stalking with Charlie...

 

I've waded in the turd gen pool a few times by accident not realizing I was in the kiddie pool, and began to see it was a pool full of pee, not worth navigating through IMO.

 

There's more than just pee in that pool...

 

Likewise, wasn't until that increasing warmth sensation came over me where I was like, "Wait a second, something's F'd up here..."

 

I have been in there for 4 or 5 years so am immune, lol.
